Choose, read, and chat together

Starting next academic year, we’re trying something new. Instead of only discussing books afterwards, we’ll also read them together. During the sessions we’ll read a short part of the same book (in English or Dutch) and then talk about what we just read. What stood out? What did you think? How did others interpret it?

No heavy preparation and no lecture-style discussions, just reading together, sharing ideas and meeting new people. And of course there will be snacks and drinks, because it should also be fun.

The first book will be chosen together through a poll, see below. The second book is already set: The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood.

Curious? Come join The Lighthouse Book Club and read with us.
